Eating a healthy, balanced diet is an important part of maintaining good health, and can help you feel your best. It doesn’t have to be difficult either. Just follow these eight tips to get started.
- Eat the right amount of calories for how active you are, so that you balance the energy you consume with the energy you use. If you eat or drink too much, you’ll put on weight. If you eat and drink too little, you’ll lose weight. It is recommended that men have around 2,500 calories a day (10,500 kilojoules). Women should have around 2,000 calories a day (8,400 kilojoules). Most adults are eating more calories than they need, and should eat fewer calories.

Right now there is approximately 50,000 children who are being home educated in the UK, and that figure is rising by about 80 per cent every year. with the issue of Black students being so harshly treated differently in schools by white teachers there is an ever increasing number of black parents choosing to protect their children’s education, identity, self esteem and prospects by home educating.
The staggering increase means that a diverse section of parents are turning their back on traditional schooling and going their own way.
There are two main types of home educators – un-schoolers, who follow the child’s lead, and regular home schoolers, who follow a curriculum at home.
